Partner, Head of Global Markets

Mark joined Executive Access in Shanghai in 2009 and is currently a Partner and Head of our China operations.  He has an extensive track record in placing senior executives in the finance industry in China, serving clients in investment banking & capital markets, equities & fixed income, corporate banking, private banking and asset management.  Mark has an extensive knowledge of the banking and finance market in China.

Prior to joining Executive Access, he spent 4 years with Proking Management Consulting, a large Chinese search firm with a focus on the banking and finance industry.  In the earlier part of his career, Mark worked in retail banking sales with the China Merchant Bank for 3 years.  

A Shanghai native, Mark has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tongji University.  He speaks fluent English, Shanghainese and Mandarin.

Philip joined Executive Access in 2001, where he heads up the Private Banking and Asset Management practice. He has been consistently top-ranked in the Asiamoney Headhunter Polls. In Private Banking he has placed CEOs, COOs, Country Heads, Team Heads, Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors and Discretionary Portfolio Managers. In Asset Management he has placed Chief Executive Officers, Chief Investment Officers, COOs, Institutional Sales and Third Party Distribution professionals of all levels, Portfolio Managers and Analysts. He also covers Single Family Offices and runs Global Board Assignments (INEDs) for Executive Access Ltd.

Before joining Executive Access Ltd., Philip worked for UBS for nearly 8 years with assignments in investment and corporate banking in Zurich, Hong Kong and Shanghai. He also spent two years working in Investor Relations and Advertising in Bangkok. Philip moved to Asia in 1992.

Philip obtained both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Columbia University in New York.  He speaks English, German, Swiss-German, French, Spanish, Italian as well as basic Mandarin.

Maggie joined Executive Access in 2017 and is currently a Managing Director and leads the Corporate and Transaction Banking practice.  Maggie has also built up the Fintech practice, and taken on the role of Head of Greater Bay Area, where a growing number of the firm’s clients are located, especially in FinTech and Consumer Finance.

Prior to joining Executive Access, she spent six years with Randstad Hong Kong where she was the head of practice in banking and financial services focusing on front to back recruitment in both professional and contracting business.  Before that, Maggie worked at another leading International recruiting firm and an Asian boutique search firm respectively.  Maggie was born in Shanghai and educated in Australia. She speaks fluent English and native Cantonese, Mandarin and Shanghainese.

Patrick joined Executive Access in 2005 and is currently the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.  He primarily covers clients in investment banking and has placed numerous senior executives over the years.  Prior to joining Executive Access, Patrick was with Morgan Stanley, Hong Kong for three years in the Investment Banking Division and was involved in a number of M&A, equity and debt transactions.

Patrick is raised in Hong Kong and graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK, with a Master’s degree in Engineering. Patrick speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
